TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS |
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION |
Away from work I am a composer, having written and directed plays, musicals and cabaret. I am reasonably competent in French and Setswana. I have chaired a group organising an annual community festival and was elected to the board of a project feeding homeless people in Southampton.
There should be no such phrase in broadcasting as "it's not my job". The overall impression I'd like to convey with this CV is of a well-qualified broadcasting engineer with senior management achievements in television and radio. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are allied with a proven capacity to research, analyse and manage new challenges, passing on training where needed. I am very proud of an ability - possibly my strongest asset and proved time and time again throughout my career - to take on any new task, quickly master whatever skills or background are necessary to achieve it, and come up with a good end result.
